Onex Evans

Chief Accounting Officer

Onex was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer effective September 1, 2022. She joined AVCT in June 2020 as Director, SEC & Financial Reporting and was later promoted to VP, Corporate Controller & Reporting.

She is originally from Jamaica and started out her career in public accounting. Having worked with both legacy PwC firms while in Jamaica, she joined PwC Atlanta soon after moving to the US, before transitioning to financial reporting, primarily SEC reporting.

Her experience includes financial reporting roles, primarily SEC reporting, with various companies, including with companies such as Inspire Brands, Inc. (consultant, July 2019 to June 2020), Manhattan Associates, Inc. (manager, June 2018 to June 2019), The Home Depot, Inc. (consultant, December 2017 to June 2018), Advance Pierre Foods Holdings, Inc. (manager, November 2016 to November 2017), David Weekley Homes (consultant), Ashton Woods (manager), Allied Holdings (director) and Lodgian, Inc (director, previously manager).

Ms. Evans is a licensed CPA and holds a BS and MS in Accounting from the University of the West Indies.
